This massive turret system requires so much power, and its multiple launchers require so much room for ammo storage, that there is no room or energy for stardrives. Thus, using it to upgrade an N-Class unit to v3 creates, not a spacecraft, but an orbital combat station. It can be assigned to a base fleet as a potent deterrent . . . or, delivered to a target world as cargo, it can release a starkly incredible burst of missiles to saturate defenses.
This device upgrades the N-Class Battleship v2 to become the N-Class Battle Station v3.
